FARMERS MARKET PLANNING MEETING

The weather has been very Spring-like this week and maybe that is why I've been getting calls about the farmers market. Yes, we are planning for another season at the market. Back to Basics (our sponsoring organization) has already paid our market insurance for 2010 and signed us up for the Business Expo in March.

Its time to get together and make plans for the new season!! For those of you who joined after the market opened last year, you missed out on the planning part. Our friend, Maureen Leonard, graciously hosted the first meetings in her home in Pineville. It was so congenial (and the food so wonderful) that I am really happy to tell you she has invited us back to her home for our first planning meeting this year.

We'll need to be discussing what we did right and what we can do better this year, times, days, locations, costs and all that kind of stuff. Maureen and I set the meeting for 5pm on Tues February 9 and we hope that will work for many of you to join us there.

Its real easy to get to Maureen's home at 120 Vancil St in Pineville. From the stoplight in Pineville, go north up the hill. The first road to your left is Vancil, about half way up the hill. You will go around a curve on Vancil and up a hill. Maureen's home is on the left. See you there on the 9th. I've missed you guys!!
